Shoe boxes of memories

 stacked one atop the other in my mind

Some are labeled Random

Others are labeled Haphazard

This one is labeled Polite

Gracious, Eloquent, Beseeching...

I search for the one filled with You

It's colors are green, paint splashed, blue

Loose fitting box top, tattered and worn

Holds pieces of Truth layered and warm

Softer words,

Secrets,

Whispered sounds beneath the dark

Shoe boxes of memories,

found in a toppled heap

 of CreativeDisarray

are Scattered moments of

blissful contentment

that mingle with all sorts

of Precious sprinkled behind

Shoe boxes of memories forever in my mind

They're all filled with You
